Artifacts
Artifacts in the Agile Stream Framework represent the tools needed to identify, rank, and visualize organizational impediments. In an effort to enable transparency and non-subjectivity, the framework leans on several agile metrics that are directly related to the effort it takes to complete work-items in the Sprint Backlog.
The artifacts include:
- Stream Impediments are activities that slow agile teams from completing a task within a predefined time-box and represent operational misalignments along the Agile Stream.
- Stream Backlog holds an ordered list of actionable Stream Experiments aimed at reducing organizational drag.
- Stream Experiments are instruments used by the Stream Owner to probe and sense the effect of changes within a system.
- Agile Stream Board is a kanban board that makes the state of each Stream Impediment visible to teams and stakeholders.
- Process Improvements are the outcomes of the Agile Stream Framework.
